Jaguar Type 01: A New Era for Jaguar Has Begun⚡🐆

JLR has just officially unveiled the Jaguar Type 01 in New York, the brand's first fully electric luxury GT. This isn't just a new model. Jaguar has opened a new chapter in its long history and gone fully electric.

Opinions on social media are split: some love the change, while others can't picture a Jaguar with this kind of design. One thing is clear: no one has been left indifferent.

What lies beneath these lines?

• 3 electric motors, all-wheel drive (AWD), approximately 1,015–1,030 hp

• 0–100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, top speed of approximately 240 km/h

• Range of 515–724 km on a single charge

• Ideal 50:50 weight distribution and a low center of gravity for outstanding balance

• An all-new platform, developed with more than 360 patent applications filed

Dimensions: length 5.2 m, height 1.4 m, wheelbase 3.2 m, ground clearance 120–150 mm. Unofficial reports put its weight at around 2,700 kg, but that doesn't stop it from reaching 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.

Price and ordering: Orders open in early 2027. Depending on configuration and options, the price will range from approximately £130,000 to £200,000.
